I'm Lily Hii, a tax strategist and tax accountant based in Sydney, working with small to medium business owners across Australia. I help businesses turning over $500k to $3 million pay less tax legally, structure their finances properly, and keep more of what they earn.

For me, the numbers of any business tell a story … and in business, the numbers are everything. They tell me how you got here, where you're leaking money, and what's possible if we put the right structure around what you've built.

Most business owners I meet didn't start their business to become tax experts. You started it because you backed yourself, you saw an opportunity, and you wanted to build something of your own. And you have. You've grown a real business with real revenue.

But somewhere along the way, the financial side stopped keeping up.

The bookkeeping setup from year one isn't built for the business you have now. The accountant who lodges your return once a year doesn't know what's happening in your business between lodgements. And nobody - not really - is sitting down with you before EOFY to map out how to legally pay less tax and keep more of what you've earned.

That's the gap I fill.

I've spent the past 20 years working as an accountant and bookkeeper across a range of firms and businesses in Sydney. I trained in mathematics at university, which is where I first fell in love with what numbers can tell you when you actually look at them properly.

Now I run Tax by Lily - a tax strategy, tax accountant and bookkeeping practice for established business owners who are ready to stop guessing, stop overpaying, and start making decisions with real numbers in front of them.
